CATHERINE (KATE) HALL

CATHERINE (KATE) HALL - Dip Social Work, MEd

Child and Adolescent Counselling and Therapy

Prior to starting my family, I worked for Barnardo’s and Scope as a social worker specialising in children and families with special needs.

As my own children became more independent, I began my training as a child and adolescent counsellor at Cambridge university

Whilst completing my training I have worked part time at the Aspire project In Cambridge working with other agencies to support children and young people who have a diagnosis of Autism.

I am also a director of Success in Schools Ltd which offers Safeguarding training and support to schools in the UK.

Since completing my Masters at Cambridge I have been responsible for setting up and running a school based counselling service across three primary schools

My therapeutic approach is integrative, and child led.

Children and young people experience the same traumas and challenges as adults whilst not always being able to manage the emotions and feelings that go with them

I aim to offer a safe space for children and adolescents to process emotions through both talking and using play and the medium of art to facilitate the processing and understanding of there own feelings

I am registered with BACP (British Association of Counsellors and

Psychotherapists) and adhere to their codes of conduct, performance and ethics.

SEVARIN BENNETT

SEVARIN BENNETT - HPD, MNCH (Reg), DSFH, AfSFM (Reg), NBfMP(Reg), CNHC (Reg)

Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist

I have a passion for helping people create positive change in their lives through the use of hypnotherapy.  I believe we all possess an inner strength and resource to achieve our goals, but sometimes we just need a little help or guidance.  I can help you do this in a compassionate and non-judgemental way.

My background is in architecture and project mangement, however after 30 years in the business I knew that I wanted to change my direction.  My interest in the conscious and subconscious mind began with yoga and meditation and grew into neuroscience and the fascinating way in which our brain works.  This knowledge has led me to the path of hypnotherapy where I can help people access the subconscious mind to bring about positive and meaningful change.

I help with a wide range of conditions, issues and unwanted behaviours including:

Anxiety and stress

Depression

Phobias

Stop smoking

Insomnia

Weight management

Fertility and pregnancy

Reaching goals

General relaxation

Building confidence
